4 seasons of the year
the first story
Mimo ciągłego podlewania kwiaty i drzewa usychały. Lato i Zima były zawiedzione.
I takie właśnie zmiany pór roku pozostały do dziś.

Once upon a time, four Elements were living in a town. Summer and Winter, next to each other, similarly Spring and Autumn. In front of their houses there were gardens, but nothing wanted to grow there.
In Winter’s one it was chilly all the time. The ground was still frozen and no plants had enough strength to break through it. In Summer’s was too hot. Despite the constant watering all flowers and trees withered.
One day, Winter and Summer came up with the perfect idea to swap the charge of their gardens. As a result the plants finally started to grow well and feel a little bit better. However, that plan only seemed to be perfect. Flowers did not feel comfortable with sudden climate changes. Summer and Winter were disappointed. All seemed the same in Spring and Autumn’s gardens, they faced similar problems. All four Elements wanted to solve the issue. With their joined effort they assured smooth changes between Summer and Winter. All Four have established a perfect order of seasons. Spring followed first. Later, Summer, Autumn and at the end Winter.
And such changes take place repeatedly.

the second story
„Cztery siostry”
Zima miała srebrno- białe włosy i szareoczy.

„Four sisters”
A long time ago, at a time when fairies lived on the Earth, and the world still was not completed, the Four Seasons were living in a beautiful castle in the clouds. Winter, Summer, Fall and Spring were sisters. The girls were of marvelous beauty, and anyone who looked at them, could not forget them.
Spring had emerald green eyes, pink lips like a tulip flower, long, windswept hair.
Red-haired Autumn had freckles all round her face and chestnut brown eyes. Summer with golden blond hair and cornflower eyes. Winter had silver-white hair and gray eyes.
The girls were constantly quarrelling who should be in charge and control the Earth . So that there was no harmony. After numerous complaints of divine messengers and the farmers, sister were made to bring order to in their governments. Because there are 12 months, they decided to divide them among themselves equally . To make people’s lives easier they agreed to rule one by one , in the order to change the weather as gently as possible for the people. So the first was Winter, then came the shy Spring, followed by warming all around Summer and the last Autumn - after the harvest came.
And it’s taken place constantly , with a few exceptions, but you can forgive them.

Spring 2012
Kolejne to zawilce, przebiśniegi i krokusy. Wiosna to najradośniejsza i najprzyjemniejsza pora roku.
The most beautiful season of the year is coming. Polish word for spring 'wiosna' comes from the Proto-Indo-European language 'ves', which means light and happiness. And that's how spring looks like - it shows us the beauty of nature and it's a great change after gloomy winter. Although, it begins at 21st of March, we can already see its signs at the beginning of the month. The days are longer and warmer, the snow melts and spring flowers blooms. One of the first are yellow primulas, which appear in February. The next are anemones, snowdrops and crocuses. They arise from the snow, showing with their bright colours that the winter is coming to the end. March is also a signal for animals. Bears, hedgehogs, bats and badgers wake from hibernation. They also enjoy warming and wealth of food after the long sleep. Weather changes too. Cold disapears and the sun shows in the sky more often. Even spring storms shouldn't discourage us to walk.Spring is the happiest and most pleasant season of year.

The birds migration
Każdej jesieni bocian Hektor wyruszał w podróż do ciepłych krajów. Zwiedził wiele miejsc, pełnych przeźroczystych, nieskazitelnych mórz i tropikalnych owoców.
" A dokąd lecicie? dobiegł bociana chrapliwy głos. Bociek uśmiechnął się nonszalancko i nachyliłdo gołębia. " Do Paryża oczywiście" mruknął wesoło i wybuchnąłgromkim śmiechem.

Every autumn, Hector the stork, started a journey to warm countries. He visited many places, full of transparent, pristine seas and tropical fruits. He and his family, formed admirable keys, where miles and miles traveled. Many birds envied Hektor these expeditions, while they were spending the winter in Poland. The Stork will never forget when he accosted a group of pigeons getting ready for the journey. Finally nervous Hector went to one of them and asked if he wanted to join them. The bird looked, ruffled and answered uncertainly at him asking the question. "And where are you flying? - the Stork heard a hoarse voice. The Stork nonchalantly smiled and leaned into a dove." The Paris of course, "murmured merrily and broke out in a loud laughter.
Now sitting comfortably in his nest, thinking about how pigeon is lucky, being able to spend the winter in his country. Because everything is fine, but still
home sweet home.
